The Air Force birthday is traditionally an opportunity to reflect on our past and consider our future, and this is never truer than in our Centenary year. Air Force has a rich history, a fabric woven from many examples of bravery and valour. The Centenary Commemorative Ceremony represents an important opportunity to remember those who set the foundation for the Air Force, to recognise their achievement and innovation, and to commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Today’s Air Force is capable of providing air power across the full spectrum of operations, from humanitarian and disaster relief; to reconstruction, mentoring and peacekeeping and warfighting. This broad ability to deliver is a result of the high calibre of our people - past, present and future.
The Centenary Commemorative Ceremony will be observed at the Air Force Memorial on Anzac Parade in Canberra on 30 March 2021 and will provide an opportunity to reflect on our past as we move forward to our future.
All Air Force 2021 events will be COVID-compliant and in line with state and territory requirements. Please refer to this event page for updates.
