Formed at RAAF Edinburgh in 1977, No. 92 Wing has been an enduring part of the Salisbury community for over four decades.
On Friday, 5 November, members of the public are invited to witness a traditional military custom as No. 92 Wing exercises its Freedom of Entry to the City of Salisbury.
The Freedom of Entry March is an historic practice dating back centuries. Today, the granting of Freedom of Entry to the City of Salisbury provides an appropriate way to honour a distinguished unit of the Australian Defence Force and recognise its close association to the City.
There will be opportunity for the public to view the Freedom of Entry March and ceremony along the route.
